Sao Mang Ban (Wipe-out-illiteracy
class, Sao means wipe out, Mang means illiteracy or blind and Ban
means class) is a very important part of the national anti-illiteracy
campaign. People who are going to the class except the teacher are
all Wen Mang (illiterate people,
Wen means civilization, Mang means blind). These classes are all
free because most Wen Mang are poor peasants.
