...to win the game, one needs suite like 2,2,3,3,4,4 or 6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9 etc. The suite is called lianzi (the chain). The longer or more one's lianzi, the better.

The players are divided into two teams, each team usually has its nickname. Yanghunzi & Shudaizi are in the team called "Licenceless."

When the game reaches its live or die moment, Yanghunzi finds his lianzi short of a three! All he can think at this moment of his life is "diaolianzi (the chain dropped)"
